The only really good thing about the throwbacks were that the pants were actually gray and not some bathwater-off-white like our current ones. Make our pants actual gray or the silver that was worn during the spring game. If they used the actual design of the 1954 jerseys and used gray outlining around the numerals instead of black, that would've been the shit...

Just out of curiosity took a look over on Ebay to see what the replica throwbacks were going for. Found only a few and most are in the $185-$190 range with a day and a half remaining.

If I hadn't worn mine during another glorious beatdown of the scumweasels I would sell it, make a quick hundred profit, and order a replacement from College Traditions. I just can't risk the bad karma of parting with it. You can never be too superstitious when it comes to "THE GAME"

Why should we trust the color-coordination opinion of someone who can't even tell what color the buckeye leaf stickers are? :tongue2:

SIIICK! Would have loved to see an all gold jersey to go with the gray/black helmets and gray/black pants (you know, to fit the schools ACTUAL colors)... But I loved those helmets. Black helmets are just sick. FSU's Pro Combat black helmets were insane looking, TCU's (black/silver) were nasty, Mizzou's tribute helmets were awesome.
