Jimbo Fisher (ex-HC Texas A&M Aggies)

Don't worry guys....that NYT article is full of lies. The ship is as tight as ever.

So... Campus Police had nothing do it.
And just completely ignore all that stuff about two players with a suspended license fleeing the accident, the convenience store robbed just down the street during the period in which they've ran off, the report dropping all criminal charges once the PD discovers they're players, reversing the decision to impound their vehicle, not testing for alcohol or drugs after a 2 AM car accident after they flee the scene, and TPD attempting to contact FSU's Athletic Department (why is FSU's AD involved with the city's investigation at all?).

We're supposed to ignore all that and the (in)actions of Tallahassee PD, b/c FSU Alumni Association insists Campus PD didn't do anything wrong.
Right.

"it is clear the story contains no evidence to support any of the writer's implications"
... easy thing to say when the Police Department chronically fails to gather evidence for criminal activities.
Even so, there's ample evidence that the Police Department's actions are grossly inconsistent and the report itself shows them for liars as they cross off impounding the vehicle etc. once the officers realize these are FSU players.

The obtuse references to integrity aside... seems he was fine running the score up when he could last year. Now that his team isn't good enough to do it, he wants everyone to ignore margin of victory. OK.

Yes, Jimbo showed lots of integrity against Idaho last year when he decided to put up only 80 points on them.

Jimbo Fisher: I told ya. We haven't had any players misbehavin'.
Investigator: Okay! But are ya sure? 'Cause I mean, how do you know? Do you do a bed count, or what kind of a routine do you have here?
Jimbo: [growing uncomfortable with this questioning] Sir, I answered your question!
Investigator: [long pause] I'm sorry, sir?
Jimbo: Sir, I answered your question! I answered the darned... I'm cooperatin' here!
Investigator: Sir, you have no call to get snippy with me! I'm just doing my job here.
Jimbo: I'm... I'm not arguing here! I'm cooperating. So there's no need to... we're doin' all we can here.
Investigator: Sir, could I talk to Mr. Barron?
[Jimbo gives him a glassy-eyed look, knowing full well what Jameis, et al did]

Investigator: Coach Fisher?

Is it wrong of me to think I wouldn't mind seeing Jimbo being fed into a wood chipper?

Edit after reading the rest of the thread:

So who's going to end up feeding who into a wood chipper in a week?

Great minds and all...

Just when I think FSU couldn't be any more of an affront to American higher education.....

I mean these allegations are national news and who makes the public response? The fucking booster organization! Even Auburn is looking at these clowns and saying, "wow, you've got some seriously screwed up priorities and governance issues!"

I like to think that there might be some serious non-sports journalists out there looking at this situation and picturing themselves picking up a Pulitzer.
