Difference is that OSU isnt hosting a special event like FNL... I find it hard to believe his visit to Cbus, in the offseason, will be as exciting as the one to Florida..

You missed the point... It was BECAUSE he didn't verbal at such a high profile thing like FNL that it looks good for tOSU...
BTW... Mike Farrell is a known Gator-homer... For someone who is supposed to be impartial, when UF is involved in a recruitment, unless it's a slam-dunk the other way, he always says Florida will land the kid. It drives the FSU fans crazy it happens so much...

go read the rivals main board some time. you will see at least 2 or 3 threads that bear evidence to this. that being said, osu's position in this race, without haden even setting foot in columbus, has to make some folks optimistic.

I expected this but it sounded like he was going to leave Florida without commiting. When he decided to spend an extra day in Gainesville I thought he would probably commit.
BTW, MF is certainly not a Gator homer. He wrote a big article about how Mack Brown owns the Univeristy of Florida and Urban Meyer when it comes to recruiting simply because they got Jevan Snead from Florida (even though Florida was going to get Tim Tebow and Snead himself was from Texas) and because Texas landed Ocala QB John Brantley.

Clearly you've never spent time in Gainesville. Granted, Florida is more interesting than Ohio in terms of things to do during summer, but there is no comparison between Columbus and Gainesville-- Columbus is easily more exciting (such as it is).
