I don't know if this series is proving that Kobe was the MVP, but I think it's once again proving that Nash and the Suns (without Amare) are a one-trick pony. Every team Nash has been on plays strong up tempo offense with balanced scoring. But what do they do in the playoffs? Nothing.

It's a shame Jim Jackson has got himself mixed up with the Sexual Assault All-Stars.
I don't want to see the Lakers play the Clippers. Would they even bother to put down the Clippers' version of the floor?

This was the best officiated game I have seen in the playoffs. They need to fly these refs to Cleveland for tomm. nite.
I also thought Kobe tried to get a little cocky, we he did the little finger waving after being taken to the ground.
I think that really fired the Suns up and they put it away after that.

Hopefully Raja Bell gets suspended for game 6 because it was obvious he was just trying to hurt Kobe and take him down as hard as possible. If Haslem can get suspended for throwing a mouth piece and whats-his-face on the Bulls getting suspended for knocking over Kirk Hinrich(sp?), Bell should definitly be suspended.

I'm not so certain Kobe won't be suspended for the next game as well for that elbow.
This series has been really fun to watch, you know, for two teams that won't make the Finals. It's like an appetizer to the main course of the Pistons-Spurs or Pistons-Mavs. Or, maybe, just maybe Piston-Clippers.

Hinrich plays for the Bulls . James Posey did the blocking.
I'm not sure that Bell will get suspended, especially since Ko-me and Philla
are both asking for him to not get suspended. What gives? Maybe they want to give the 'jet-set' a reason to boo in game 6.

There will be tempers flying tonite.
Kobe's comments were straight bulletin board material, saying he didnt even know who the kid was that took him down.
I think he pissed the Suns off in game 5 with his finger waving after the take down, and that is going to piss them off even more.
This is goign to be a great game to watch.
I would say the over/under on flagrantfouls and tech should be about 5.

When you saw Kobe saying that stuff, could anybody else not help to think back to when he and Shaq were feuding, and Shaq was professing to the media to not know Kobe Bryant or never having heard of anybody by that name? Classic trash talk.
Fast forward to yesterday, where Kobe tried to pull off his own version of the same stunt. Pretty weak on his part.
It's kinda interesting to ponder, even though it doesn't really matter at this point since he's suspended. Bell's presence would have got the Laker fans charged up, but it also would have got Bryant charged up. It might've taken out of the game he's been playing in this series (what is this "team basketball" you speak of?), and caused him to go one-on-one more to prove a point.
I hope the Suns find a way to win this one (and the next one). I don't want to see the Lakers get a back door in to home court advantage in the next round.
