Lamarcus Joyner (DB New York Jets)

I wish they had used him more on offense. I understand that he was playing safety most of the day and it was rare for UA to even make it that far so he wasn't going to see much excitement on D. But I would have loved to see them get him the ball on some screens and reverses and what not. And why on earth is he not returning punts?!

My only action shot (wasn't assigned to the game today, so I had to work elsewhere till the last few snaps). Second version with a little photoshopping.

In all honesty he didn't play all that much on D or O. They threw him in there every now and then but didn't get a lot of snaps to evaluate.

The riches of talent on that team is crazy. Must be nice to be able to hand pick the talent from Dade, Palm Beach, and Broward county. The talent in that area alone is crazy then to hand pick it... Yikes!

After that abysmal showing last night, I doubt they would have fared any better.

Not to get too far off topic, but Colerain is going to be just fine this year, IMO. Maybe St. X is going to be better than any of us expected, but if those two teams meet up again in the playoffs, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Lamarcus Joyner DB 5′9″ 165 St. Thomas Aquinas: Joyner says his top three are Florida State, Ohio State and Florida. He grew up a fan of Florida State, it seems that is where he wants to play, and a commitment to the Seminoles looked imminent. People surrounding Joyner seem to be delaying his commitment, but in the end look for Joyner to stick with his gut and the Seminoles.

College Football Recruiting On the Trail 2010 - ESPN

Lamarcus Joyner, St. Thomas Aquinas, roll to easy victory on ESPN
Under Armour All-American cornerback Lamarcus Joyner caught a 31-yard touchdown pass in St. Thomas Aquinas' (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) 52-7 destruction of Upper Arlington (Columbus, Ohio) at Ohio Stadium.

Joyner discussed the experience with the Orlando Sentinel following the contest, "This was an absolutely great experience. St. Thomas is a college prep school and that's what this whole trip felt like. Like we were in college."

No. 1-rated CB Lamarcus Joyner has "three-headed monster" on top
Under Armour All-American Lamarcus Joyner (Miami/St. Thomas Aquinas) revealed his top three to ESPN affiliate Web site Bucknuts.com following St. Thomas Aquinas' victory at Ohio Stadium on Saturday.

When asked to name the schools he is considering, Joyner said, "FSU, Ohio State and Florida. I call those three schools the three-headed monster."

However, Joyner isn't necessarily only considering those three programs. He also has an official visit schedule for Sept. 12th to Ohio State for the Buckeyes' contest with USC. Joyner added, "I plan on visiting Georgia, Florida State and maybe USC."

The five-star talent has also recently named Alabama and Tennessee as schools under serious consideration.

The outcome of that game isn't going to sway Lamarcus either way. Heck of a game.

Has a lot of the same qualities as FSU's Greg Reid. Hard to watch him and not think you're watching Lamarcus out there. Reid was all over the field for the Noles and made play after play for them. To have that kind of game-changing player on your defense... well... let's say Lamarcus is pretty easily my favorite uncommitted player we're after right now!

Yeah, one game won't sway a kid like Lamarcus. However, I'm sure his uncle was giving him the business on Tuesday morning. I'm guessing he was a happy Canes fan.
