I mean I guess it's better than Harbaugh, strictly from a Raider fan point of view. Either of those would've been a disaster, so......sigh. So many good coordinators that could be the next McVay or Shanny, but you settle on a guy who you know will just never work out. Whatever.

The Raiders cut Alex Leatherwood today. According to PFF, they tried to trade him and have already eaten guaranteed money on the contract. Apparently he gave up more pressures than any other olineman in the NFL in his rookie season.

The Raiders had blown three 17 point leads in their 62 year history coming into this season. Josh McDaniels has managed to blow three in eight games so far this season.

At what point do these idiot owners and gms stop hiring Belichick assistants?

In their defense, it’s not just them…multiple teams were begging to hire this guy for years. It’s like the allure of the progeny of a guy who somehow managed to with win the greatest QB of all time is somehow siren-level despite charge of the light brigade level failures time after time

And yet, Mr. McDaniels has done bupkis throughout his career without Tom Brady. Well, Derek Carr is no Tom Brady.
