Not a critic, but, I guess I'm fortunate to get see new films before most and to not have to pay for the privilege.
These to a certain degree and depending on personal tastes, are all worthwhile if you like story and character driven material. For you action only guys, this is probably not the best time of year for you. Regardless, I strongly suggest that you look these up on IMDB.com before spending your hard earned money at theaters in this economy.
