And then there was one. Just Micky left until all the Monkees are gone.

I took my mom to see the Monkees (just Peter and Micky then) in Dayton a couple years back and that’s one of the best memories I have of her. She loved them so much, especially Davy.

John Madden has passed.

Fascinating dude.

I remember playing the original Madden football with my nephew. Him doing commentary was great but the game play needed a little work back then.

Was lucky enough 'in the day' to get to sit in on taping of the Flip Wilson show in Hollywood. Sidney Poitier was the special guest, and his 'duet' with (forgot who), had him playing "hole in the bucket" (well, fix it der Henry, fix the bucket) skit. Flip's dressing in drag as Geraldine was monstrously funny. Poitier played a role in that skit as well.....thanks for reminding me.....
