You're probably right... given the lineman doing nothing in the background, I thought he was the guy who sort of stood and stared as JL ran by for the sack.

Nope it is the sack. Here is Jimmy D's pic from a different angle.

laurinatis is really coming on strong. i am looking forward to see him develope more the next couple of years!
next year will be his last. imo he is proving to be a game changer from the defensive side and will easily be a top rounder after another year of experience and bulk.

James does not need to get much bigger. He is already 250.

No way he is 250. Heck I don't even think that AJ was quite 250 and he is a bit bigger than Animal Jr. and Carp was 260 and he is not in the neighberhood of Carp. I would go with 235.

I think another offseason in the weightroom and he could become unblockable.

A.J. was measured at 248 lbs. at the NFL Combine and he was 6'1" while James is 6'3". He's definitely atleast 250 lbs. I think he said he was 255 lbs. in an interview with the-ozone.net this summer.

Disagree. I don't see his NFL potential as high enough to warrant coming out early. Not yet at least. James has made some great plays and is getting better, but any top round NFL talk is premature imho.

i agree 100% in that any talk of him leaving right now is premature. i am looking at it more in the vision of not being suprised if he decides to leave after his 3rd year (assuming he stays healthy and progresses as he should).

This kid is a stud, reminds me of a big Zach Thomas (pound for pound the best LB in the NFL). He is always either making the play or around the ball. Without taking anything away from A.J. or Bobby, could possibly be better than any linebacker we've had in the past 5 years. 6'3", 245 with a nose like Hawk and only 19 years old.
