FWIW the expanded rankings show one area where oft mentioned expansion candidates like Rutgers & Pitt are extremely poor fits for the B1G.

Tiny athletic departments with few olympic sports are not hallmarks of B1G schools.

Thanks Muck, this year shows the B10 looking well-rounded. Sometimes it's hard to rationalize that the lowest of sports is equal to big, bad football.....but that's why Stanford wins every year. it's great to be a Buckeye!

Currently sitting in second place, well behind Stanford (obvi) at the conclusion of the winter session. Men's volleyball ship will get us off to a great start for the Spring session, and we have or likely will pick up points in men's lacrosse, women's rowing, men's and women's tennis at the very least. Probably need to either win a couple of those, or find a couple other places to squeak out some points (softball? golf?) if we're going to remain in second.

Stanford is also #1 in the very competitive "dumb looking mascots licking hot cheerleader's butts" competition.

Still firmly in second, and we have another 90 pts for lacrosse that haven't been added. Not sure where we are going to pick up any more points this Spring though (is tennis done?), so hopefully we can hold onto second. Awesome showing for the Big Ten with three of the top four and five of the top 10.

1 Stanford Pac 12 FBS 1194
2 Ohio State Big Ten FBS 925.50
3 Michigan Big Ten FBS 822.00
4 Penn State Big Ten FBS 816.75
5 USC Pac 12 FBS 798.50
6 UCLA Pac 12 FBS 740.00
7 Wisconsin Big Ten FBS 692.00
8 North Carolina ACC FBS 671.50
9 Kentucky SEC FBS 659.50
10 Minnesota Big Ten
