Michigan, on its second head coach since Fritz Crisler retired and 15 years removed from its last national championship, slid toward mediocrity, so pioneered talking about their dominance over the Yipsilanti YMCA in the first half of the century and pretending like getting skull fucked by Ohio St and Michigan St every year on the new-fangled color TV wasn't a big deal, because it's really all about the academics.

Doubt it. LSU fans, and the LSU perception is that they're still NC based off of name recognition and recruiting classes. LSU is an impatient bunch who got used to winning and dominant defenses with Miles, if Cookie Monster can't at least be 2nd in the SEC west by next year his seat will be as hot as someone who ate some Cajun jambalaya

no, we replaced Les Miles with a cajun something below Les Miles.

with Les, 8-4 was the floor.
we probably wasn’t beating Bama, but knew we at least stood a fighting chance against them every year.

then we hired the guy who put up the worst offensive day we’ve had against them since that a championship game we try not to bring up.

and we’re gonna be a 3 TD+ underdog when we geaux to Tuscaloosa.
