I have to say, I play an offline season with 2 teams, and for all the guff this game has gotten, it has been a realistic and enjoyable season for me so far. At the halfway point I am 7-1 with Kansas City and 4-4 with Arizona. In real like it was...8-0 for Kansas City and 4-4 for Arizona. I even won and lost almost all of the same games (not by design, of course). For once this iteration isn't so bad that I lead the league in rush defense and am dead last in pass defense, like I was in every season of almost every other Madden I played before (it has been a few years, though). I've had a lot of fun with it. Using Jamal Charles has been all kinds of crazy awesome.

Best football game I've ever played. We're currently in Season 4 of our Connected Franchise.

We've even expanded. Up to 10 teams, and still moving once every 24 hours or so.

Somehow I had forgotten to post this. I've started a connected franchise that is now in its 4th season. So far we have a solid core of 7 players. Looking for more. Hoping to keep conference balance - so 2 to the NFC and 1 AFC would be ideal. Custom sliders engineered towards a much more realistic gameplay. Elite defenses will perform like defenses. Player awareness has been increased by sliders - pass rush is pretty solid. Run game isn't overpowered yet good Oline's can blaze a trail. Safeties will attack the ball carrier and read option. Speed threshold has been minimized so scrambling QB's are actually able to be contained. If anyone is interested in joining, feel free to PM me. All I ask is you keep gameplay legit and minimize the cheese. Thanks.
