Yep, a true MVP is one that misses free throw after free throw in the 4th quarter. He's as clutch as Earnest Byner so far.
LeBron?
I was waiting for somebody to bring this back. :tongue2:
Oh, and don't forget Kobe Bryant's choice: Kobe Bryant.
"I'd vote for myself," the Lakers star said with a smile.
And if he couldn't?
"I wouldn't vote at all."
"I never worry about individual accolades," James said. "Never have and never will. I feel like the individual awards will come with the team's success. They recognize that, people who are voting for the MVP race, and they'll probably realize who the MVP of the league is."
To be fair to Kobe, that record would EASILY get you into the playoffs in the east...he's still a jerk though. That's the reason LeBron has his team on the cusp of fifty wins and homecourt in the opening round and Kobe is barely hanging on to the bottom of the playoff ladder with similar supporting casts. Fuck the 81 points in a game. If LBJ went out there and hoisted 32 shots a game he could score 35 a game too. LBJ >>>> Kobe. Any argument to the affect of "the Lakers would be horrible without Kobe" is ludicrous as the same thing is true of LeBron and the Cavs. Kobe has no place in any MVP discussion.
LeBron: 31.6-7.1-6.6 Cavs 48-31, 4th(3rd) in East
Kobe: 35.3-5.3-4.5 Lakers 43-37, 7th in West
