Smooth Olaf

Checking out Channel 9, man.
Apparently, this is the first screen shot from the upcoming game.

That looks impressive... Only problem, the screen may be from the intro to the game or something along those lines... I've seen it on several other games... Either way I'm buying it... This years game got me hooked!

No way in hell that's gameplay..

But it looks damn good.

Exactly, years and years of misleading screens will never fail. I'll wipe my ass with sandpaper if that's a screen from the actual "gameplay"..and not an instant replay screen. EA would not dare release an actual photo of gameplay, because it never changes.

Operation sports and ncaastratigies.com sometimes have actual creators of these games post on there. It's quite apparent that this game will never be "realisitic". I have read statements from the creators of ncaa football stating that they have to have the game "fun for the mass appeal"...Meaning horrible pass rush, deep bombs in quadruple coverage will always exist, but hey as long as you can score a lot of points, that's what matters to them...

There are ways for them to apease both. Basically all they have to do is create sliders that actually work. Or make a harder level that doesn't cheat to make it harder. That can go a long way to making the hard core football gamer happy.

As for me, I just hope they build on the online dynasty feature as that is the best thing since sliced bread.

I guess reading year after year how this year is going to be different just gets old. Sure they could make it better, but that's not what matters. People like my dumbass will buy the game regardless, because I NEED to have the game...Updated rosters are the only reason i've bought the game the past few years. The game is basically recycling hogballs with #10 as your qb,and not the previous years #12.

You mentioned the game "cheating"..So i'm guessing you don't care for heisman mode with sliders up and fumbling the ball randomly? I really enjoy the floating defenders who suddenly jump higher then Lebron James yet have the hands of Cris Carter.

How about regardless of what play I run.. The defense always knows what formation to counter? I could line up 5 wide on the goal line and they would be in a pass protection scenario..Yea ok...No audbiles or adjustments just really smart computer coaches...Yet on certain broken plays you could run them 100 times a game and they would work.

For online play i'd really like to see them cut down on "glitches"..I'm very tired of seeing someone pull the cord, when they are losing and I will get the loss. I wouldn't mind seeing ever single pass thrown in triple coverage an interception. There are so many Larry Fitzgeralds on this game it's ridiculous....Spectacular catch can go to hell to.

Online dynasty this year made this game. NCAA08 was traded in before the college regular season was over as it was horrible. But 09 rocks! We got a great online dynasty here at BP so we don't have to worry about those crazy random online players that cheese to the max. So we get good online games and a good community feel of razzing guys and recruiting battles.

Who needs updated rosters to keep having fun with 09 online dynasties?

So to me 2010 I want smoother gameplay. I want the insane speed of 09 toned down a bit so it isn't about recruiting the fastest players at a position. I want sliders to work so the CPU doesn't cheat to compensate for the speed of the human teams. A couple of tweeks to online dynasties would be good to, cuz if they don't fix alot of the small issues that online dynasties have and improving it, it won't be worth getting 2010.

But I know I will buy NCAA10 cuz that is one of the few PS3 titles that I really get my money worth out of.

Pretty much that. If they fine tune the online dynasties (fixing the glitches, etc.) and improve just a few aspects of the gameplay (pass rush...magnetic interceptions...the CPU refusing to throw deep) then this could be the best yet. I've played NCAA 09 more than any other PS3 sports game, and that includes College Hoops 2K7. It was such a leap above NCAA 08 that I am confused whenever I hear or read someone complaining that the game never changes.

Hell, last week, I was bored and made a spreadsheet listing who I though would be on the Ohio State roster. Yeah, I'm that pathetic.
