Ryan was playing on virtually every single line it seemed this season. Getzlaf & Perry were together pretty much the entire season, but Bruce had Ryan all over the place. Guy has a temper on him too.

Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux has surgery after golf injury - NHL.com
Philadelphia Flyers captain Claude Giroux will need 5-6 weeks of recovery after surgery Thursday on his right index finger. According to the team, Giroux was injured while playing golf in Ottawa.
"Giroux was golfing today when his golf club shattered and splintered into his index finger," general manager Paul Holmgren said in a statement. "Although there were no broken bones, there was some damage to his extensor tendons in his finger. He is expected to have a full recovery in 5-6 weeks."

A little late to the party as this happened last week, but the last thing Flyers fans needed to hear after last season. Regular season starts on October 1st, exactly six weeks from today, so it sounds like he'll be out all preseason unless he recovers quicker than originally expected.
