FACT: Low driven shots are causing problems for keepers.

Greece leads 2-1.

Yep. I think we're starting to see players make adjustments to that too. I hope the US players can keep their head over the ball when they strike it tomorrow.

Meanwhile, everything has fallen apart for Nigeria since that sending off. Before that they were going to be playing South Korea for the right to move on to the knockout stage. Now they're toast.

That's too bad really.

It really cuts down on my opportunities to use "Shittu" throughout the tournament.

Where's BB73 at when ya need him? :wink2:

Nigeria's not toast.

If Nigeria beats South Korea, and Argentina beats Greece, Nigeria is guaranteed to fiinsh second in the group based on goal differential. Greece and S. Korea are both -1, and Nigeria is a -2, but those wins will flop the goal difference into Nigeria's favor, and they'll win the 3-way tie for second with 3 points.

And that's a "no Shittu" statement.

That's crazy, but fun...the groups are best when all 4 teams are still eligible going into the final match.

Insanely talented team lead by a hapless and underqualified coach?
Sounds like I've seen that before...

Good parallel between Marandona and Larry Coke-r.

Deutschland is not happy today. Surprising clean sheet for the Serbian keeper turns that group into a three horse race.
