Game Thread Ohio State 37, Penn State 17 (final)

My only question is do people really believe that the crowd is enough to beat us? Because I truly believe we have the edge in all facets of the game. Our offense can move the ball against an underpreforming defense. Our defense can hold anyone in the country to under 10 points. And we always have an edge in Special Teams. So I guess my only question is can thier crowd beat us. As we showed in th MSU game we are tough to beat unless we start to beat ourselves. I don't see that happening after what happened against Michigan State. Senator Tressel will have those issues corrected. You gotta believe and right now I am not short on belief in this team. Go Bucks.

I think that if we score some points to start the game and get some turnovers, the wheels will fall off of the dreaded "white out" pretty quickly. It would be nice to get a dominating win to absolutely crush the moral of Penn State fans. Of course, if Dan Connor plays "better" head to head against Laurinaitis, Connor will be a lock for the Butkus, so they will no doubt claim a moral victory.

Why are we talking about Les Miles, Oklahoma State, Mike Gundy's manliness, LSU, and the SEC-speed myth in the PSU game thread?

Get focused people!

Exactly. I have removed much of that garbage and placed it in this thread. If anybody wants to keep talking about that crap, here is the thread:

I Have a small Wee-Wee and I Hate the SEC

We moderators would appreciate it if folks would attempt to place their comments in appropriate threads.

Note - I'm not criticizing everybody who had a post included in that move. Some of you were responding to comments made about Les Miles, but this is the Penn State game thread, so I moved all of that stuff.

I have no doubt that JT will do his job and get this team ready to go. My only concern at this point is TB's confidence level. After the quarter and a half he and the rest of the offense had last week, I hope they aren't gun-shy and start playing a little scared. This is their first "real" test. :osu:

This is our first real test since our first real test against Michigan State's running attack, which was our first real test since Purdue's passing attack, which was our first real test since Washington's hostile environment, which was our first real test since... well I guess that's as far back as it goes.

(thanks daveeb)

Everybody i have talked with here in Florida has said to me that "Your Buckeyes are way over-rated again" It seems i heard that alot in the year of 2002 and look what happened.

I will agree that i'd much rather be at the top and be stated as overrated(which gives us something to prove each week) instead of being flaunted as the team to beat like last year where we all saw what happened (lazy, complacent).
