no but he said it twice..we will beat osu...

Hrm... well as best I can tell, the team with the best chances of taking out the Bucks are Penn State. The Bucks need to show up tomorrow and they need to take care of the ball, if they do that this should be an easy win. Tressel does well with the "pressure of #1" so that won't be much of an issue, now the big question is which Penn State team shows up?

True but it's not always the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

:io:

I doubt there will be much room for fight left, when the dog is filled with pickles :tongue2:

There is no such thing as an easy win against Penn State. Like most teams, they are pumped for the Buckeyes. Everybody wants to knock off the Big Dogs, and that has been us for awhile.

There's only two ways I see this Buckeyes team gettiing beat. The defense will only be beaten by a very balanced, talented offense. Penn State doesn't have that. The team can also be beaten if a team can keep the game close and get a fortuitous turnover or break to allow them to get the lead. That is how Penn State can win. And it's a big "can"

Either way....they're still stuck with Morelli lol

:oh:

That may be, but if a fired up Nit defense causes turnovers, even Morelli can punch it in a time or two with a shortfield. That <1 minute meltdown last week may have been a blessing in disguise as I'm sure that the staff worked with the offense about holding onto and protecting the ball. This game will be won or lost in the turnover battle...meaning, if we don't turn the ball over, we win easily. If we start making mistakes, it could be a long gut-wrenching night.

This is a big test for the Buckeyes. Our last big test, was a joke, Purdue. But Penn State is a lot more balanced. Morelli gets rattled very easily and the fans aren't too happy with him, so if the Bucks can rattle him and get him to make a few mistakes the boos will start to pour down, that could be huge.

Happy Valley can be very intimidating, the fans are loud, not to mention they all remember 2005 and think this is a great chance to repeat. They have hope, we need to crush that right off the bat and we can easily win, but if we let them hang around...
