On another note our fans that attended the game are getting glowing reviews in the way they represented Buckeye Nation. I'm looking at you Texas. Time to give up the ghost.

Let's treat the Oklahoma fans well when they come here next year and kick their asses on the field again. I say this knowing we will.
Tejas is still bitter about not being treated like conquering heroes... I heard on the radio on Friday some of them were rooting for OU because of 05 still... Time to let it go folks and move on...

Side note on tOSU attendees. I attended the 1983 game in Norman, where tOSU shut down Marcus Dupree (in fact, he wanted 'out' in the second quarter), and I have never been so well treated at a game. All OK fans were polite, complimentary to tOSU team, and they even bought me a beer or two at the local pub. Glad to see that our fans carried themselves well. My wife and I were in OK City last week, and left on Thursday. Saw many (at least a gaggle) of tOSU fans, and we lit up the airport with the O-H I-O cheer, and everyone seemed to smile, not curse around us. Great football city.

I was at the 05 game until the bitter end and I still have no idea what 'attrocities' they are talking about. Most OSU fans left that game cursing Ryan Hamby and talking about 'what if' in regards to Troy Smith being suspended. Texas fans were the ones acting like jackasses.

Was there too .
We tried to make it a hostile environment, we tried to make them unwelcome and uncomfortable... They aren't use to that. They want to be treated politely and have the red carpet thrown at their feet and to be worshiped. The old blue hairs who travel are the same ones that sit down during games.. if that gives you any idea. I spent the weekend with guys from Tejas (my roommate moved down there). They had a great time, drank, talked shit, laughed, things got a little dicey the next day when one guy was running his mouth before leaving to the airport...

We won at OU with a team of underclassmen. I'm not worried about any team being better than us but I am a little worried about our heads getting too big. Going on the road to Wisconsin, Penn State, and MSU isn't going to be easy to say the least.

Getting up once for OU is one thing but carrying this level of play throughout will be a challenge for the coaches.

I do like reading foxsports, they have an article to back every opinion, but this one is my favorite this morning. Apparently OU was the young team, even though they returned twice as many starters and lost only 4 to the draft (2nd,4th,5th,6th rounds).

Great win, that was a lot of fun to watch!

What's with players dropping the ball before the end zone? I was in the bathroom for the live play, but on the replay I was suspicious he dropped it early. Then a few minutes later they go back to Mixon clearly dropping the ball before the endzone. It seems moot after the result, but that could have been a major deal if it was a tight game. Surprised everyone on the field missed it
