Game Thread Ohio State at Oklahoma, 09/17/16 @ 9:00pm ET, FOX

No one's saying you have to care. It's just I wouldn't set myself up for disappointment by thinking you'll walk out of Norman with the W.

Ohio State is very young and inexperienced. As a fan of one of your opponents, I must tell you that our first game against Houston at NRG is more worriesome than the young Buckeyes coming into Norman where you will be introduced to the real architects of championship football!

Thanks for the warning.

What position do you play again? (just so we can warn Urban that an extra bad motherfucker resides there)

And more talented than any team in the nation not named Alabama. Can Oklahoma say that? I'll trade some experience for hunger and this is going to be a hungry team.

Are those old geezers going to greet osu in the hotel or something?

I love how you act like you're talking to Oregon fans.

As for wonderfully reliable preseason guesses, find me some people who accurately forecasted the Buckeye 2014 season after losing Braxton, let alone Barrett.

Or the entire world that was sure osu was going to be a monster last year and instead they sleepwalked through the year offensively until it was too late.

Oklahoma has a lot of reasons to be confident. You should be proud of them.

If you'd like your stay to be brief (or extended just long enough until the comic relief runs out) keep behaving like this is a YouTube comments section. If you'd like to actually show that you are knowledgeable about college football and not an insufferable troll (the likes of which you'd find in Oregon ) , try offering up something of substance, recognize where you are and at least pretend like osu is a blue blood, which shouldn't be hard considering they outpace Oklahoma long term and short term. None of those things is going to win the ballgame though.

Ah yes, OU once beat Alabama with fuggin' Trevor Knight. And we consider him one of our worst quarterbacks.

congratulations

here's your trophy

"YouTube comments"??? Come on, I expect Buckeye fans to have pretty thick skin when comparing you to texass fans. Note how I've only commented on this thread, which references the Sooners. Is it a bannable offense to defend my team when coming to this board and only posting in this thread????

Where's the fiery passion and spirit that you Buckeye fans show? I'd argue SEC fans are grittier than you guys.

Well, assuming you're referring to the Heupel years (as an offensive coordinator, not our 2000 NC quarterback) then you must not notice that OU lost only twice at home under Bob Stoops.
that definitely seems more relevant than two seasons ago where you lost three home games in one year, with two coming against Kansas state and Oklahoma State, plus getting pasted by Baylor. The season ended with the first of two consecutive blowout losses to Clemson in the postseason.

Again, will that keep Oklahoma from winning? No, but acting like osu will be facing a Sooner team on par with Miami 2002 or USC mid 00s or Alabama early 2010s is a pretty big stretch.

again, the 14-21 year old demographic you seek with which to test your smack talking mettle resides over at Bucknuts or the ESPN boards.

I bet they'd love to compare grit with you

Yes, Youtube. My skin is fine and not in question, nor is my posting style.

Whether you're going to be a quality contributor to the site is in question (but only barely at this point). We've had some stellar OOC clashes and influxes of visiting fans from Texas and Oklahoma State. LSU was pretty good.

Florida, Miami, USC was pretty sporadic and largely nothing but immature trolls.

Hopefully this matchup will yield more visitors like UT, OkSU and LSU brought to us and less chest thumpers like the latter provided.
