Game Thread Ohio State vs Oklahoma, 09/09/17 @ 7:30 ET (ABC)

This. This. this.

I hate myself that I am still hypersensitive about the PI call. I've watched it 100 times, and, honestly, I don't see PI. Maybe holding. Maybe even a facemask. However, I did see the hold on Gamble AND his catch that was called incomplete that would have given Ohio State a first down and an opportunity to salt the game away there. I also saw the clip on AJ on the punt. If anyone wants to talk about officiating, then fine. Bottom line is Miami had a chance to win the game in the 2nd OT. An unbeatable team should have been able to punch it in from the 25. Cie Grant blitzes, gets a hold of Dorsey, throws him to the ground, the ball is thrown harmlessly into the ground near the goal line, and my joy commenced. No one is taking that away from me with some officiating BS. Thank you.
Correction, an unbeatable team should have been able to gain 0.5 yds over 4 plays. They could not tie the game with 4 snaps from the 2. They could not because Peterson and co obliterated them upfront.

I'm glad he supports his team. We need more fans from other teams. He'll tone it down.

I think that we're going to see a first half like Notre Dame in the Shoe's second half. And I think Meyer doesn't let up the second half.

Isn't this Sooner getting close to ban land?

To the Sooner. If I acted like you have been acting lately in this thread on Land Thieves they'd ban me in a heartbeat and you know it. This site is similar. Act like you're a guest in our house and you'll be treated well. Stop the not so veiled insults (Luckeyes) or GTFO.
The Tressel thing was kinda close but otherwise, let's have the healthy banter. What the hell, we still have a month before real football talk.

The 15 year old smack talk about an Ohio State national championship really stings.

You all kind of lucked out in that game though with the phantom pass interference call and Willis McGahee being out with a knee injury.

2014 Buckeyes > 2002 Buckeyes

I'm sure you all would agree Tressel overstayed his welcome because of that win over Miami.

 Why does a supposed Oklahoma fan give a hoot about a Miami game? (Especially one that occurred a decade-and-a-half ago.)

Oh, never mind. I can answer my own question.

Continuing RC's historical trek backwards ...

Re: Oklahoma interesting (18) years of head coach Stoops, born and bred in Youngstown, OH.

(16) years of Barry Switzer born and raised in AR.

(6) years of Chuck Fairbanks born and raised in TSUN.

(17) years of Bud Wilkinson born and raised in MN. btw, a special shout out to Bud who played on Bernie Bierman's (3) NC teams from '34 to '36. Yes Virginia, once upon a time MN had really good football teams. I digress.

Oh yea, Lincoln Riley from Texas! Indeed a lot of Oklahoma tradition when it comes to their head coaches.

Go Sooners!
