Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

Most of the Buckeyes looked flat-footed. Patty for one. They made NWs steals easy, wafting the passes instead of crispying them. Cannot explain the missed shots, don't believe they have missed that many in total this year. It did sound like the rim was loose, but should have evened out in the second half. Jacy needs to keep popping. She's a bit snake-bit, going oh for the night last game, and pretty much the same last night. Keep the confidence. Do like the way BraxTIN is filling in the cracks between Green and Jacy. Also thought the D suffered when Patty and Dorkas were out at the same time. Patty seemed a step slow all night. Hopefully if was simply one of those game when nothing goes. Didn't see anything inspirational from the coach. We'all gotta love that both basketball teams are so highly ranked. Not bad for a 'football factory'. Go Bucks!

Regardless of gender distinction, Ohio State is a constant in the college basketball landscape for the 2020-21 season.

The last time the two Ohio State basketball teams were ranked in the 11th week of the season the women’s team sat at No. 8 while the men’s team had just broken into the poll at No. 22 during the 2017-18 season. Fast forward three years and both teams reside in the AP Top 25 Poll once again — this time with both sets of Buckeyes in the top 11.

Ohio State is 1-of-7 schools to have teams in both AP Top 25 polls — with Michigan as the only other Big Ten school. Baylor is the only other school to have both teams in the top 11.
