thxs but, only 125,000 bail is weak as heck for what the prosecutors think they have.

not really. he also had to give up his passport. he is too famous to be a flight risk, and he didn't kill anyone (this time), so no need to hold him or to have a higher bond. remember this is a state case not a federal

I heard that civil righs lawyer for O.J and he said someting about california people have the right to pay it or not and he tried to work it out with the goldman family. One thng , I could never understand is how each state has different rules of law but, we all live in the USA. :(

OJ Simpson Sentencing Day

Tried a few searches for a dedicated thread - and was surprised not to see one with an OJ focus.

Could have sworn there was a thread somewhere - but, if there is hope a moderator won't mind stitching this message into the existing.

Anyway - today is the day it will finally come to pass. OJ Simpson will be handed down a prison sentence. Only remaining question is, how long.

6 years to Life.

O.J. Simpson is going to prison; the question is for how long.
The 61-year-old former football star who walked away a free man after a celebrated murder trial was due to learn Friday how much time he'll spend in a Nevada state prison for a botched attempt to recover sports mementoes and personal items from two collectibles peddlers.
