i wonder if the staff won't push for adams to announce early to get guys like brewster to speed up the process. if these kids are actively recruiting for osu as proported, then announcing early helps that cause.

It would be great if the sites spaced out their updates on the Block O but it seems like the updates always come within hours of each other...

Still leaning heavily towards OSU. Still actively recruiting for OSU. Still likely to enroll early. Still NOT likely to go public early like we all hope.

Wadc45, what would be the reason for a recruit to not go public if they are dead set on a school, which it appears that Brewster is? Going public could help get the momentum rolling and could influence some other top guys to commit.

If Brewster recruits them guys he can verbal to every school in the country and end up a buckeye and still be my favorite recruit...

It makes no sense why recruits would not verbal. They are still able to take visits as verbals to others schools. The recruit could still check out almost any college in America. Most college coaches still welcome recruits on campus even if they have verbaled to another school. It makes good sense for coaches to allow for the recruits to take visits. Especially in the fluid environment in recruiting where sometimes committed prospects have a falling out with the school they've verbaled to. The invention of ESPNU means that every college committment can be televised. I've still yet to see a solid reason why a recruit would only silently verbal to a school unless he was still mulling over his options.
