We stayed here: Renaissance Paris Arc de Triomphe Hotel http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Re...rc_de_Triomphe_Hotel-Paris_Ile_de_France.html in May on our Honeymoon. Hotel was great, staff was great, real nice location. It's on one of the spokes around the Arc de Triomphe, so its close to the Champs-Elysees (but far enough to avoid the crowds) and close to a major metro stop so getting around is easy. We had a bunch of Marriott pts, so we took advantage of that. I had a friend that stayed at the other Renaissance and loved that too.THEWOOD;1842903; said:I am thinking of surprising the wife with a long weekend trip to Paris over Valentine's day. Any suggestions on where to stay?
I highly recommend this app (if you have an iPhone) http://www.metroparisiphone.com/index_en.html for getting around. It was invaluable when we needed to get places, and didn't require internet connection.
