Penn State Cult (Joe Knew)

Wow, what fucking morons. I recall all of the claims that PSU was going to dominate and own the B1G.

How has that worked out?

Oh yeah I forgot the officials and B1G admin is stacking the deck again them. Now I get it.

I know you're asking that rhetorically, but I know the answer!
4 Big Ten Championships in 25 years - about 1 every 6.25 years. Compare that to Ohio State's 12 championships (including shared championships) in that same time period (1993, 1996, 1998, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2017) (2010 happened, dammit!). Northwestern even had 3 in that time period. Michigan has 5, Michigan State has 3, Wisconsin has 6, and Purdue, Illinois, and Iowa each have 1. So Penn State is #4 on that list.

Overall conference records:
0.809 Ohio State
0.658 Michigan
0.656 Wisconsin
0.629 Penn State
0.586 Nebraska (Big Ten only)
0.547 Michigan State (I just learned that they vacated their 4 conference wins in 1994 - I gave them back to them for this)
0.537 Iowa

Penn State is 36.5 wins (I counted ties as 1/2 win, 1/2 loss) behind Ohio State in conference play since 1993. In 25 years, that's just about 1.5 wins per year.
Let's see if we can come up with 36.5 wins that Penn State SHOULD HAVE HAD if the corrupt Big Ten hadn't intervened:
2002 Ohio State (I know they don't whine about this one, but that surprises me)
2003 Ohio State
2013 Ohio State (Marcus Hall hit their defender with a "targeting" crack-back block that let Miller free to get a first down. COMPLETELY changed how that game should have gone. There was also a touchdown that was ruled a touchdown at first, then replay showed he didn't score, and they should have marked him out around the 3 - or so they say - and they marked him out at the 1. Of course, first and goal at the 1 is WAY easier to score than first and goal at the 3.)
2014 Ohio State
2017 Ohio State (I'm sure there's somewhere in here that they think they "should have won" it.)
2005 Michigan (Lloyd got his 2 seconds added to the clock AFTER Joe got 2 seconds added to the clock)
Was that what they call the "heel-toe" game? If not, add that game to the list.
How about some game with Iowa?
What about Maryland recently when Maryland refused to shake hands at the coin toss and didn't get a 15-yard penalty? I think Maryland won. The wouldn't have if Penn State was given 15 yards.
Maybe put 2006 Ohio State in there - Penn State would have won if Ohio State fans didn't photoshop him pooping his pants.
I think I need some help.

Penn State patterned themselves after Notre Dame ..with an easier schedule. They did a money grab when they joined the Big 10.. they didn’t expect tOSU and MSU to become dominant ..

Which means (and we already knew) that they are totally ignorant of the history of the Big Ten....While Sparty wasn't a decade by decade powerhouse, Ohio State sure as hell was and is....

Well, during the late 1980s when the decision to take Ped State was made, Ohio State was probably at its lowest point since Woody arrived, while Ped State was probably at its height, in terms of success.

Wait...is this a real thing? Wasn't that the game we won 63-14? And were up...42-7 at half? 49-7 at half?

Yes, but the momentum was about to swing. If not for those crooked refs, it would have been a great comeback win for them. Do you even Ped State Cult, bro?
 I used to browse BWI pretty regularly to laugh at the ridiculousness. Never saw the 2013 thing though. Now with two kids under two I don't have the time nor inclination to indulge their shenanigans like I used to.

Penn State did have a bad call in this one, where Ben Hartsock was credited with a first-down-converting catch on 3rd and 3 when replay (before Paterno invented it) showed that the ball hit the ground. The conversion led to a late touchdown to give OSU the one point win. Of course, in a fifteen year period, any team can point to several of these.

That was a pretty big miss by the crew. It wasn't as if it was some kind of diving catch, scooped off the top of the grass.,.. it was to his chest in stride, it bounced like a basketball, he re-caught it and off they went. I do believe Ped missed a long kick as time expired which was VERY close to being good. And it was LONG.. like... 60 yards long. Had the distance, missed wide right or left

Robbie Gould. That was the year somebody broke my OSU car flag off my car window.
