Still haven't forgot. The simple fact that he isn't in a Browns uniform, alone is a crime.

Not that preseason numbers mean much, but I still enjoyed their QBs sucking today. Still wish Cardinals would pick Troy up. Wells needs a passing game there to help him out.

Cards will be just fine with Kolb........But I concur, Smith should be on somebodies roster..

If Arizona picked up Troy, he'd be a backup at best. They just gave Kolb a ton of money and lost a trade to get him.

Alex Smith has taken advantage of every opportunity to show that he absolutely sucks. He must be a hell of a practice player because, honestly, how else can you justify this guy being an NFL starting quarterback?

He was the 1st pick in the 2005 draft and they have a lot of money invested in him. If he turns out to be a "bust" (which he is so far) it make the entire organization (including scouts, front office, and coaches) look bad. He will be given every chance possible by SF to be sucessful.

SF is on their 3rd head coach and 3rd GM since Smith was drafted, and his #1 rookie contract (which had already been restructured down) is past, so at this point he's just another middling veteran on a 1-year contract. He does seem to be Harbaugh's best chance for next year's #1 though, so maybe that's the best longterm play for them.

Sandbag and draft Luck.
