Really, really excited on this one, especially after the Cotton Bowl. Howard is an improvement for all the reasons already said that I won't belabor in detail. Experienced, tough, major improvement athletically, and now he has a ridiculous arsenal to throw to. Perfect guy to get for a year while LK and Air develop. I can't wait to watch him in the S&G.

How were you able to properly evaluate anyone on offense behind that offensive line?
Making any sort of declaration on QB play in that game is an exercise in futility, my man.
My main thinking when it comes to Howard. As excited as I am that OSU landed him, I can only be but so excited when thinking about him behind that OL From last season.

LK has a lot of developing to do. If he leaves after spring I would not be surprised..SDSU is calling.

Gronowski is a Junior. He would have to sit next year either way.
I don't see how Will affects Kienholz. He was going to wait for 2024 anyway -- if anything, he doesn't have to worry about beating Brown this Spring.
Brown might leave, but my assumption presently is that we have 3 guys to battle it out for 2025 Spring.

Not sure how stoked I am over Will Howard. 10 picks last season?
We would be gaining a QB ranked 22nd to McCord's number 8 (yeah, I know, he's gone, spare me).
One thing we would gain is the dual threat capacity, other than that I'm not seeing much difference unless the talent around him elevates his game.
Is that how you all see it, coming into a group with better talent, and that it will elevate his play?

As Mike Tyson would say, "most definitely". Let's not forget that we saw numerous open receivers this year that never had the ball thrown to them.

I think people are getting a bit hung up on the stat comparisons here. If you actually watch the 2 on film I think it's pretty obvious that Howard puts us in a much better position to win than McCord would had in 2024.
If McCord was on Kstate instead of Ohio State in 2023 his stats probably take quite a dip. He was wildly underwhelming considering the stacked talent he had around him at the skill positions. I think in 2024 we will see just how meh he really is when he is QBing a Syracuse team instead of a Ohio State team loaded with skill talent.

4 in the Spring game should be fun but the coaching has to let them all play. I wish they'd do the draft again this wye the best games
