I can't disagree here...unprovoked assault cannot be forgiven.tibor75 said:hopefully trash like this never suits up for the Bucks. OSU students deserve to feel safe on campus. It's one thing to be beaten up by a bunch of thugs on High street. It's quite another to be attacked by a fellow student. Good riddance

Former OSU Player Sentenced For Assault
Guilford, Irizarry Arrested By OSU Police
POSTED: 6:13 pm EDT October 4, 2004
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- A former Ohio State football player will not go to jail after admitting to beating a former student, WCMH-TV reported.
Ira Bell-Guilford was sentenced Monday to two years of probation and 45 days of house arrest after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge.
Ohio State police arrested Bell-Guilford and former teammate Louis Irizarry in May after they allegedly assaulted a student and stole his wallet.
Bell-Guilford said he wants to return to Ohio State and hopefully play for the football team.
"This is most uncharacteristic and I am truly sorry for everything that has happened," Bell-Guilford said. "I embarrassed the university in addition to my family. He knows how I feel and I am very sorry for the whole thing."
Bell-Guilford will testify if called upon against Irizarry when his trial begins next week.
Bell-Guilford also paid the student back, including a semester of tuition because the student had to drop out of school.
