Michigan is not in the top 5? That's BS. How do they expect to be taken seriously by not overrating Michigan?

No Domers either?? This poll is a joke and I shall boycott it in this life and the next.

EDIT: And in their little "analysis" they spelled Pryor, Todd and Boom's last names wrong. Losing credibility fast...

florida at 1 seems high unless tebow comes back. is the going theory he will return for his senior year? its certainly not the worse too early poll i have seen.

Yeah. We may lose Percy, Tebow and Spikes. Silly. Who knows what Tim will do. Different drummer.

We will have a lot of work to do to beat USC. But, so will they after all their losses also. So, it will be a very interesting game. :oh:
Returning QBs are always a key to how teams perform early.

If Sanchez leaves I think the chances of beating USC go up immensly...

Also I would say that MSU and maybe Wisky dserve some looks in the top 35 teams...
Sanchez is not going to leave. Seriously, which USC QB has ever left early under PC?

The only way OSU makes it pre-season that high is because Tress pulled Boeckmann and played Pryor. Even with Pryor as a true soph, without the game experience, we do not rate in the top 15, given all the senior talent that graduates/runs out of eligibility. I still color Beanie, Hartline and Small gone, but believe there are very viable receivers coming up (Sanse, Posey, Brown (?) ) that will fill in the gaps. The back 4 on D will be fine, and the front 4 as well. The LBs look pretty good as replacements, but not world class. The O-line will still be solid, maybe even better than this year (one can always hope), and the FB recruits look stout (on paper), and it'll be tailback by committee until one emerges.

I think that USC will lose more talent than OSU, but they've got 5*s stacked like cordwood waiting their turn. Oh well, I'm still betting on OSU in the 'Shoe. With or without Sanchez, and I don't see him bolting for the pay for play league, he didn't really do that much in the Pac-10. Now a huge game in the Rose, however.......
