Scenarios for Final CFP Playoff Rankings

Did anyone from the committee give their reasoning? I don't watch the shows. I don't care about the ESPN talking heads' reasoning.

I'm curious what criteria they used or is just more "eye test" bullshit based on yesterday?
I mean the committee would've had to use the eye for only the first 30 minutes of the B1G Championship lmao. Every single week until last night, Ohio State has dominated in the eye test category over LSU and it hasn't even been close. Ohio State got off to a shit start and still rolled through Wisconsin.

Like you, I'd love to know the committees rationale for giving LSU the #1 seed because every single metric has gone OSU's way all year. Even the fabled "eye test".

Yeap.
I've yet to see a single objective point made in LSU' favor.
And even the subjective "eye test" is all Ohio State.
The only fact in LSU' favor is where ESPN' money is invested.

I'm good with getting bumped down. This program never does well when it's the national champion in waiting ready to be crowned. Not one of our NCs came in a year where we were the preseason #1 in the AP Poll. OTOH, and unless you're very young, we've all lived through the choke jobs: 1969, 1970, 1973, 1975, 1979, 1996, 1998, 2006. Let the team feel disrespected and play with a chip on their shoulder. I like it.

Any word on Wittenberg, Ohio Wesleyan and Oberlin being back on the OSU schedule in 202 and beyond?

Our OOC is fine.
It's the conference' scheduling that is beyond stupid imo. Starting with the 9game schedule that only hurts all of us.
Where do you think Penn State is ranked if they don't play Minnesota?
If Michigan didn't play Wisconsin?
They'd be ranked in top 10 instead of top 15ish.
Indiana would be in Top 25.

And then it goes with the idiotic scheduling of back-back big games that puts everyone under pressure, leads to more injuries, and doesn't let any team put their best foot forward. I made a post earlier showing ~10 of 14 teams had back-to-back games that set them up for failure.

If there's no punishment for Chickenshit Saturday... we're stupid for not implementing it.

I agree, maybe BTN should have “FCS Saturday” the second weekend in November
