Pete, was surprisingly upbeat, he met with the team and it seems he did a good job motivating them for the new changes. Mat barkley spoke, and he sounds like hes ready to lead the team without Pete being at the helm.

I dont think there will be too much of a drop off in the W/L column next year. Only time will tell though.

I don't normally listen to ESPN radio, but I had left the radio on the station because I was listening to the Bungles game this weekend. When I got in the car to go to work, Screamin' A. Smith was on a roll ranting about Petey. He was railing on all the coaches who run dirty programs and jump ship for a nice payday as the shit is about to hit the fan. His was saying that this will continue to happen unless they start punishing the coaches more directly. Kids who did nothing are going to play for a sanctioned team and Petey gets a 2 mill raise. He ended the rant with "To hell with Pete Carroll." And then he caught himself, "well, not Pete Carroll." :slappy:

In the same vain, I was listening to Cowturd this morning (during a Dan Patrick commercial break) and he couldn't bring himself to broach the pending beatdown the NCAA is (read should) lay on SC. He was going on about Petey being Type A, and the rest of you, 90% of the country wouldn't understand. He said Petey didn't have anything else to accomplish. It's time to move back to the NFL where he doesn't have to be a babysitter. Puhleese...:smash:

Only the D-O-Double G. He might lose access now that there's a new coach in town. Well, there's that NCAA investigation thing too, but that will blow over soon.
