Agreed. Imagine M*ch*gan fans, Nebraska fans, Iowa, Wisconsin, Maryland, Penn State, Northwestern, and Indiana fans (and everyone else) cheering for Ohio State right now. It'd be... weird.
I can imagine those fans and fans of every other team watching the game with a "I hope Team X wins" attitude, but with some of these SEC fans, I can't tell who is truly an Alabama fans and who are fans of other SEC teams, just wearing the "Go Alabama" gear for the month.

Its really not "some SEC fans" but the fans of the mid tier to garbage SEC teams who tout this BS. Bama could care less for the chant, as they're the main flag bearer for the conference and the rest just lick their boots.
I dated a girl who graduated from South Carolina and would chant that "SEC" BS, and would say how OSU would never last in the mighty SEC, blah blah blah. Until one time I had enough and asked her what had the fake USC ever done on the field. Her conference chants were a team that doesnt even consider them on their level or acknowledge them, and that South Carolina was essentially Purdue football in comparison. She wasn't happy with me, and I didn't hear that chant again 8D

Usually, but in this instance I was ranting about a UF fan, which surprised me.

If this was in the last 18 years, and she didn’t come back at you with USCe’s 2-0 head-to-head mark against tOSU, you were right in no longer dating her - because she didn’t know shit about her own school’s football team.

She did not, but it wouldn't matter because all I would have to do is ask the last SEC championship they had...
