So we are potentially getting the whole All-Ohio Red AAU squad, minus Adreian Payne. The same All-Ohio Red AAU squad that consisted of the same group of players that had possibly the best record of any other team on the AAU circuit, ever. This could be fun.

Sounds like Xavier may have dropped out of the race themselves. J.D. should be a Buckeye soo.

Weatherspoon commits to Buckeyes

Forward J.D. Weatherspoon of Northland has just given an oral commitment to Ohio State coach Thad Matta to sign with the Buckeyes in November, according to Northland coach Satch Sullinger.

Weatherspoon is the fourth member of the three-time AAU champion All-Ohio Red team to make a commitment to Ohio State for 2010. He joins Northland teammate Jared Sullinger, Jordan Sibert of Cincinnati Princeton and Aaron Craft of Findlay Liberty-Benton.
