The irony is rich ....

College Coaches salaries are easily researched for all except a couple of schools - because they are generally publicly financed. You should know where to look, now don't be so damned lazy.

Oh, and for the earlier link I did provide on the only real data introduced by anyone - that came, originally, via Forbes. As a fun exercise I'll leave it to you to find the original source; because if you cannot even find college HC salary information you clearly need the practice.

Quite to the contrary. Actually more entities should be run like a business or we wouldn't be in the mess we're in.

Which businesses? Autos? Steel? Textiles? Consumer Electronics? Wall Street? Which of our brilliant corporations should we run our universities like?

American higher education, at least, is still the world's gold standard. American business? Uhhhh, not so much.

Most of those heavily subsidized and protected industries aren't necessarily run like businesses. Part of the reason our universities are great is that they do have to compete with one another on the national and international scene.

Right, so the Big Ten could be outsourced to Asia and we have to root for Jinya Yang (5-9, 120, Jr., Yunnan HS, Yunnan Provice).

[RichRod] Sounds like a slot receiver, what's his 40 time? [/RichRod]

If they hire anyone but Harbaugh, he botched this entire process.
I disagree. Harbaugh being unavailable doesn't change the fact that Rodriguez had to go. And I don't think anyone Michigan might want is unavailable now who would have been available 3 weeks ago.

Now, if Brandon hires Hoke, I would probably say he's botched the process.
