The KSB

4-4-11/11-5-11
I'm speachless. Makes me feel good that OSU is my team. Here's to hoping VT leapfrogs us into the cursed #3 ranking.

edit: Kent State owned Central Florida today. 3-2 baby. Could be a winning season for my Flashes!!

After reading the article in the Trojan Times or whatever that paper was that was dissing the Bucks last week, I took much joy in their loss. Much more than I would have otherwise. The guy was talking about they've been winning by such a huge margin and they were the best team in the nation. Then he talks about how we suck and have fallen 2-3 spots even though we're undefeated and beating "cream-puffs." He also mentioned the triple OT game with NC State. Apprently somewhat forgot to mention that tOSU had the #2 SOS going into last week. All I have to say is that we took care of business, unlike the five or six other highly ranked teams the last few weeks.

Just wait until November 1st

Just wait until November 1st, when WSU travels down to LA to take on USC. It should be one hell of a game and could be for the Pac 10 title.

WSU 27
USC 13

The Cougar defense will be all over Leinart.

Go Cougs

the Trojans' loss is just another tribute to Herby's quality s a college football analyst. Herby said that Cal had a darn good chance in this game, stated his reasons for his pick, and lo and behold- he was right! Herby is great!

Empathy for USC

I would have to say I feel a little empathy for USC in the way the BCS shookout. It kind of reminds me of when OSU got shafted in the first BCS title game. The computers left us with the great championship game of Tennessee vs. FSU that year.

I know we would all be going crazy if we had ended with only one loss and had been left out, especially after the way KSU handed OU their hats on Saturday.

I don't really mind that USC was left out. That being said I don't think OU should be playing for the title, not after that WAXING they took. I guess the "unwritten rules" don't apply if you're a media darling. What happend to losing early vs losing late. That's twice now that the Big12 has benefitted ... Nebraska didn't even play for their conference title and Oklahoma got CRUSHED! Nice job KSU. OSU, still the ONLY 14-0 season EVER!

BTW, I'm fairly certain that this is the first year EVER that no major teams will have finished undefeated before the Bowls are to be played.

I've said this once, I'll say it again. USC is a fortunate fool for not drawing Oklahoma in the title game. Chances are Oklahoma comes out and playes spirited, pissed off football, and would have probably beaten USC. USC drew an up and down Michigan team that has played bad away from the shit....I mean big house. USC will most likely beat Michigan and Oklahoma will beat LSU which will give a split national championship. I personally would not want to play Oklahoma on a rebound game after that thrashing.

I'm predicting Big 10 domination in most of the bowls- we may lose one or 2 tops and it won't be michigan or OSU losing. More like Northwest and Minnesota.

LSU will beat Oklahoma, because, like USC, Oklahoma played a weak schedule. LSU didn't have that many tough games and didn't play too many in a row. Playing a weak team is the same as having a bye week. ie Michigan got to have a bye week, then Northwest, then us. We played Penn State at their house, then a wharthog-ass mean as hell Purdue team playing for some revenge, then you know who at their house. In plain words, you are beat up one week after playing a tough opponent who has played the game of their life.

Our Bucks will look fresh like they did the first game of the year against Washington and the result will be much the same. Or, we'll play typical last gasp football. But... what I want is Tressel's recruits (read: Santonio, et al) to rescue us from that type of football.

I really don't feel sorry for USC. I watched them against Cal. and Oka. St. They looked terrible against Cal. and not that great against Oka. St. I don't know if they can actually play hard or not. They didn't in thoses 2 games and one was a loss. As far as the bowls, I think scUM takes USC pretty easily if they play well at all. LSU and Oka. could be pretty tight, but, If the Sooners lay it on quick at the beginning, I think LSU would quit. The Bucks win by 10 or so in a good game. I don't even have an opinion on the OB!!!!!!
