Notre Dame has offers to two big time receivers that their fans will tell you they have a pretty good shot in Flyod and Buckner out of Texas...That leads me to believe this is a flex TE offer...

Either way they will split him out at times and use all of his skills...

Easy to say I am a huge fan of Jakes.

I dont think he is as athletic as Jeff Cumberland, but few are, and thats not a knock on Jake at all.

I think he gets an offer even with the limited ships. Not many 6'5" 220 lb. sub 4.6 guys running around out there! A player with his versatility can give the defense fits all day long.

I know I said Samardjzia earlier... but the more I think about it, the way Cornelius Igram was used against us vs. UF, could be exatcly how the staff could use Jake. Ingram is loisted as a TE, but not once do I recall him lining up as one.

I made this post a couple days ago, but scratch Buckner off the list as he verbaled to Texas...

Still think this offer is a flex-TE offer tho...
