I am also a basketball fan, so I will make my first of many contributions to the NBA thread and here's my first one.

Which NBA team are you sick and tired of hearing about?

For me, it's the Spurs- I find them to be an uninteresting and boring team: I think Duncan is a class guy, but Bowen is possibly a dirty player.

People you are sick of hearing from: NBA haters that amazingly continue to post all about their hate in the threads.

I'm not a fan of the MLS, which is exactly why you don't see me bothering to waste my time discussing it. So go away and pretend like the NBA does not exist. No one will care and you'll save yourself time.

OK, not a fair thing to do, but I'm frankly sick of the NBA, period. It has become WWF with a ball and bears no relationship to the game I loved and played as a kid. Steps, palming the ball, hand checking and the constant need to showboat turn me off. When they get back to something that resembles the Russell - Chamberlain, Celtics - 76ers era I'll come back and watch. Till then they can go suck an egg.

I've had enough of the Celtics already too. I don't see how anyone can be tired of the Spurs. They get next to zero pub and anyone with an attention span greater than 5 seconds long should should appreciate their style of play. And, no, I'm not a "fan" of the Spurs. I do respect what they're able to do year in and year out, and enjoy that the team that has the best fundamentals has fundamentally been the best team in the league for the last 10+ years.

I'd rather watch pee wee bball than the NBA. The NBA players other than Lebron James are all about show boating and less about the sport. I agree, let me know when Jerry Lucas returns.

If you can't see the talent level in this incarnation of the NBA, you must not like basketball. There is some serious talent in the league right now, and its just getting better with an entire earth to choose from.

That being said, I'm still tired of the damn Jazz. I thought that I couldn't hate a basketball player more than Karl Malone, and now they have Boozer who is Malone, if only Malone went to Dook and swindled a blind man. :shake:
