By 8:00pm, I mean 8:00pm eastern time. And ABC doesn't have control over when the game is, but they can pay OSU extra money to change the gametime.

Ohio is in the Eastern Time Zone, dude. It might be later in the middle of the Atlantic or Europe or something... :confused:

Because they own the rights to braodcast the game. It's normal for game times to be determined owing to station availability. It's not normal for THE game to have it's time changed, however.

While I would think an afternoon game is still preferable to ABC, I can see where a prime time #1 v #2 would be interesting to the Network suits who don't give a damn about tradition.
