The next time someone whines about our schedule...

LV- Capacity actually would hinder a positve expereience at a football game.......

jlb- And there obviously would be no bias in your pick as the best stadium...

It wasn't hijacked all I said was that in most reviews THE SHOE is not a top stadium and you all have read those reviews!

You guys are a riot if someone says something positve about OSU they are great but if it is something bad well then they must be an idiot........

I am not an abnoxious outsider all I do is try to explain to you guys that the rest of the college football world does not view OSU as you view it!

Obviously the rest of college football does not view OSU as we do-they are simply wrong. There's nothing sadder than watching a once great and respected football program like ND swirl down the toilet of mediocrity due to awful recruiting................................

Less than 70 days till FOOTBALL! Lets put this thread back on topic folks.

I just laugh when anyone complains about how many home games the Buckeyes get to play. It's much like ND's TV contract. Is it our fault folks want to play at the Horseshoe and make a big payday? Is it ND's fault that NBC wants to throw their money away? No, to both questions.

Really, ND fans make NO excuse for their exclusive TV contract, saying any team would do the same given the same opportunity. The same holds true for getting 8 home games on occasion ... any team would do the same given a 100,000+ seat stadium and more fans than could fit into all those seats.

You guys seem to think filling a 100,000 seat stadium is a big deal! With the population around Columbus it really can't be that hard to do. Like in SB what the heck else is there to do on a saturday afternoon....

3 YARDS- You made a great point about home games as some local radio broadcasters say that ND should try and schedule more home games like OSU does........ Maybe they could win more!

Count me as one who does'nt care what anyone else thinks. The bottom line is you still have to win your games.

If they don't like our schedule, too bad. Go pound salt.

If they don't like our stadium, then don't come here. I don't need to have some hack to tell me our stadium produces a great gameday experience. To me, it is the best, because I love the Buckeyes. To NDChief, it may be ND, and that's fine.

I don't understand why people get so upset at things like that. We all love the 'Shoe, isn't that all that should matter ?

:oh: :io:

Gosh, I hope so Chief. ND's 2-4 record away from South Bend would REALLY get a big boost from it's 3-3 home record! By all means, get as many home games as possible, you'll be hovering around .500 in the near future!

I'm just kidding you Chief

Taker a look at the nimrods that wrote those reviews...numbnuts who have never been to most, if not any, of them. When someone like Keith Jackson says The Shoe is the best he's seen, I'll take their word over some wanna-be keyboard monkey.

As for filling a 100,000+ stadium game after game, ask Miami if they'd like to have that kind of crowd support.

Pot...meet Mr. Kettle...I think it's somewhat obvious that the rest of the world doesn't bow with uninhibited reverence to mighty Notre Dame, either, big guy.

i highly suggest that you go to Ohio State's website, and read some of the archived press conferences from past opponents... shit, maybe you should go back to the recruits from last year who said that Ohio State has the best facilities that they had seen... finally, maybe you should just STFU, and go troll on the FuckingIrish board...

yeah... you're right... it really sucks to go see Ohio State, or Penn State, or Tennessee or Michigan (sorry!) play football.... big stadiums are terrible and i would hate to have go to the Shoe or Beaver Stadium to see a game with 100,000 screaming fans... damn you're dumb...

ND-Chief,

Am I the first to suggest that you follow the advice contained in your avatar's nickname (if that's the correct term)? I mean the first 2 letters in the first word and the first 4 letters in the second word of GOlden HOMEr.
