the longer this goes on, the more rediculous it gets. we should welcome them to c-bus by having no one show up and hanging a single sign behind their set that says

"we're above this crap"
-Columbus

according to 1460 that's just about what happened, they reported that the shoot didn't last more than 45 minutes... indicating that nobody showed up

this competition does seem to be quite a big hit in small towns, but for a city like Columbus, host to three or four college game days every year, some dumbass imaginary title town competition held on a week day with hardly any notice as to when it's at isn't going to cause much of a stir

call us when game day is back in town

Desmond Howard:

"Michigan has more than just 2 major sports, Football and Basketball"

:slappy::slappy:
I think Desmond needs to call a time-out and think that one over. He does realize that when talking "Titletown," it is over a period of decades, not just the period when he actually was enrolled at college?

ESPN Classic is playing the 2003 Fiesta Bowl right now as part of it's Titletown stuff for Columbus. They're in the 4th quarter, right at the part where Keith Jackson has his "Barn" Childress sighting. :lol:

As time passes I'm more and more impressed by the level of NFL talent on both teams. I also get increasingly disappointed in just how stupid Clarett was to throw away all of the chances, second chances and third chances he got to make something more that just portions of this one season out of his immense physical talents. Out of all very good players in the stadium that night, he may have been the best.
