I may be wrong but, coach Boals might have had a minor spat with Crean at one point.

Again, nobody likes this guy outside of Bloomington.

No doubt. I can't stand Crean either. And he looks bad here too. I just think this also reflects poorly on Beilein (in addition to reflecting poorly on his assistant, obviously).

Not that many inside Bloomington like him. They recognize he's a douchebag, but at least he's recruiting well and won't get them probation. There hasn't been a coach at IU capable of that exacta since the 1970s.

IU fans still cream their shorts when they dream that Thad Matta might bolt Columbus in favor of Bloomington. That it will never happen is the source of great joy in the MaxBuck household.

For whatever reason, I just figured it was the Michigan assistant who started shit with Crean. The fact that he wins an outright B1G championship, and one of his first thoughts is to go yell at an assistant from the former regime.......unreal levels of douche going on with this guy.

That was the first thing I thought too. So you just win a close game to win the B1G title so you seek that guy out to claim he wrecked the program?? Not sure what's going in with this dude.

I'd love Crean if I were an Indiana fan and I would try to rationalize every douche move he made.

But I'd sound like an asshole.
