@Bestbuck36 Kansas gave them fits last year at home as well. Lets hope they can finish the job this year.

Well, there will be more comments about not impressing. They might well drop to fourth place or even out of the CFP top 4 (which I doubt).

I need to say this for reasons other posters here will understand, given last year.

I will be very surprised if they get into the NC game.
Have to say I agree... if we play bama first round I have no doubt we can run the ball for a modest day but we need to fix something in pass pro because we are just awful giving our QB anytime to throw.

Now we seem to up our level of play when we need but the play calling, the protection, the penalties (timely at that), and the lack of energy on offense is alarming.

I'm only saying there is reason to be concerned heading to our last 2 (or possibly 3) games.
Agreed. 10 games in and the offense just doesn't look all that good. I'm still not convinced that JT is the true answer. Yeah we got excited when he dropped 49 on Rutgers but Cardale led the offense to the same number of points against a statistically better Maryland defense two weeks before and he had similar stats to JT. Now I DO think the offense looks better but it isn't like it's flipped a switch to 2014 form yet.

Ilolnois and Indiana aren't their normal bottom feeder selves this year. Think they've both improved.

Agreed. Indiana just needs a defense, and Illinois needs an offense.

If you want to think this offense is just going to waltz into MSU, Michigan and potentially Iowa and put up points, that's your prerogative.

This Illini team is NOT good. This defense is good based on the [Mark May] teams they've played. When they did play teams with a pulse they GOT Blown out. 48 points to UNC, 39 to PSU.

They were good enough to stand up to Iowa, and getting blown out by a 7-3 PSU team ( that has a top 20 defense and 2 of those 3 losses were to ranked teams) isn't the bottom feeder you think they are.

The problem is that Cardale struggled against an equally good defense last week yet people (not saying you) wanted JT. Now I think the offense looks slightly better, but it isn't by much imo.
JT makes the plays with his legs that CJ can't. With the way the Oline got owned today, I think CJ would have had a much tougher time of it.
