2023 tOSU Recruiting Discussion

We’re a long shot for Marshall?
That’s news to me.

Our depth chart for a class of 24 TB will be very enticing.
He didn’t grow up a Buckeye fan. So it’s going to be a pure business decision and academics will play a major role. Not saying that OSU is out, but it’s not the slam dunk many would think for an in state kid

As said above, Marshall wasn't a Buckeye fan and really is mostly looking at academics right now. I rarely get any good inside info, but I do have someone in Cincy that is well connected there who said he doesn't see him at OSU. That was about a month ago but at the very least we'll be in a huge battle, one I hope we find a way to win.

Hahaha that was legendary. "I'd like to thank God first of all. Then, I'd like to thank all the pretty ladies that came out to support me today..."

I laughed so hard, kid has a personality.

Then Kienholz with an absolute dime for TD #2. Kid was pretty much the lone bright spot for the West. Heck of a game and I can't wait to see him in Columbus, appears to do pretty much everything well.

Great showing for our future Buckeyes and fun game to watch, especially the absolute beatdown East have West. Haven't seen that before.

There is no chance Dakota starts next year.
None. And I was touting the kid before he committed.

As for Marshall my point is he isn’t a “long shot”.

Tennessee is rumored to be the biggest threat. Hardly an academic juggernaut.

Lastly, we have take 1 tb in the 2 past classes.
No other team in the country let alone elite one can offer that path of least resistance to seeing the field.

Tennessee is not the threat. They’re A threat. But I know people at Moeller (parents, alum and friends of coaches ), and the biggest threat as of January 2023 is scUM and Ped St. He’s not picking a school solely on football, so facilities and the program history aren’t a big deal to him. And Stanford is also a serious threat. NIL deals, academic standing and what a school can provide after graduation and then football are his selling points.
And fully agree that OSU needs 2 RBs in ‘24. There’s a bunch that Alford is in on early. And Williams-Dixon would be a great #2 RBin the class from OH. And he’ll jump at the offer.
