Game Thread tOSU vs. Northern Illinois, Sat 9/19 @ 3:30pm ET, ABC/ESPN2

This seems to be a common theme. The team is finding its way and it may take a few games. The QB situation is a bitch but that should be figured out by the time we hit the meat of the schedule. This should be a wake up call/kick in the nuts for both the players and coaching staff. Come November, we (OSU for Muck) should be peaking and going strong for TUN.

I've always been a "trust the coaches" guy. The defense is not a concern at this point.

Does anyone here honestly believe Urban muhfucking Meyer doesn't have a plan? Does anyone think the problems won't be fixed? I mean, for fucks sake, if there's one coach in the country that will have his offense clicking sooner rather than later, it's him.
Like if Beck is the problem...which I seriously doubt, does anyone think Urban will let that [Mark May] slide?

On the bright side they have time to figure it out. You do have a point. There is no doubt in my mind that Urban is the best OC on the team so if it came down to it he would take more of a hand in the play calling if he thought that was the problem. I remember Herman taking a lot of flack at times so hopefully they figure it out sooner rather than later.

He didn't have a plan today. Why run Zeke between Tackles ( Which won Ohio St. a title ) when you can run east-west playground garbage and turn the ball over 5 times. GET THE BALL TO ZEKE AND SET UP THE PASS !

Zeke left a lot of yards on the field today. He missed a few cut back lanes and tried going outside instead of making a cut and running. Zeke needs to worry less about Taylor Swift and more about his own performance.

Why are tOSU fans such spoiled bitches?
Why do tOSU fans act like a win is a loss?
Why is it that despite a loss early in the 2014 season, tOSU went on to curb stomp Wisky, Bama, and Oregon, yet Buckeye fans still act like anything less than a perfect game is...how do I phrase this...an "embarrassment", "pathetic", or "fire [insert offensive coach here]"?

It's so fucking tiresome. This game was a let down, for sure, but a win is a mother fucking win last time I checked. If you've lost faith, fuck yourself, jump off a bridge, or root for some other team. But whatever you do, please quit posting because I don't really feel like dealing with your negative bull[Mark May] when your entire attitude will flip when tOSU repeats as UNDISPUTED NATIONAL FUCKING CHAMPIONS

Ummm....I was just simply pointing out that the QB battle will continue....

Then don't fucking read the fucking posts. There was no fucking reason to have a let-down against a team that has won 11+ games the last four seasons and had beaten the last three B1G teams they played, especially the week after struggling to score 31 offensive points against a team that made a 9,000+ mile roundtrip and wore fucking rainbows on their unis. They scored zero fucking TDs in the second half against a team that gave up 26 points at home against a shitty fucking FCS team last week.

There's a huge difference between finding due fault in the performance of an offense that should've ran roughshod over their opponent, and "losing faith". So you yourself can go fuck yourself, while jumping of a bridge, after whacking off to your Warriner poster...

I'm just so glad to see the Silver Bullets back.

The D has had an interception in every game so far, to include a pick 6 in 2 out of 3 games. The maturation of guys like Hubbard and Conley speaks volumes. I was expecting a vaunted O and an above average Defense. Getting the opposite is refreshing considering the offensive woes can be easily fixed.
Spot on

All the role and position changes added to the QB reps being split have hurt the offense. Of the Skill positions, Zeke and Michael Thomas might be the only two asked to do the same thing as last year. I wonder how many reps Corey Smith, Marshall, and Wilson got leading up to the VT game when they went to game prep mode the two weeks before.
