IMO, this will be bad for UM beginning in 2017. If you're a recruit, you'll have to ask yourself "if I commit, will they take it from me at the end?"

Kids have short term memories along with most other folks. If he wins all will be forgotten and forgiven. This will only haunt him if he starts losing a lot.


I'd love nothing more than this to haunt his last year at scum

I want to see tsun be undefeated every year when The Game comes around. I want to see ESPiN foaming at the mouth about how BlowHard is going to own Meyer this time. Then, I want to see Ohio State kick their behinds every year. I'd like that to be the banner story when Disney closes ESPiN and they all go down the toilet.

Their schedule is pretty charmin soft this year. If they aren't 7-0 heading into Michigan State in late October then something likely went comically wrong, their 3 toughest games are all on the road @ MSU @ Iowa and @ Ohio State later in the season.

All Urban Meyer does is win and none of his perceived transgressions will ever go away. Same with Nick Saban.

The big problem for Harbaugh is that he hasn't figured out that he could do this at Stanford and nobody cared because it was Stanford. Perennial PAC doormat coming off a 1-10 season ... Nobody from the LA Times is going to Palo Alto to start digging up dirt. Heck, most of the beat writers for the Times knew Sarkisian was a raging alcoholic for the past two years and they didn't give a flip.

The press from Chicago to New York will not be so favorable to Harbaugh, and now all the kids have Twitter. Recruiting the class of 2007 and recruiting the class of 2017 are entirely different beasts.

That and you best bet every coach in the country on the recruiting ground is going to be reminding any kid considering Michigan of this.

Im assuming it wont have much of an effect on the higher rated guys. But the lower 4 stars and 3 stars with lots of other power 5 offers who may want to choose Tsun might start thinking twice id bet.
