The third comment is, "I would guess one of the Pete Carroll USC teams in the 90s"

Pete Carroll took the USC job in 2001.

Man oh man do I hate Stadium & Main. Undoubtedly the dumbest group of fans assembled in one place on the entire Internet, and that's pretty fucking hard to do.

Someone bookmark this thread. Let's bump on NSD 2017...

That's hysterical. I would take Mack and Victor over those four any day.
And McCall and they passed on Bruce.

It's not the best wr class in their state. Carr had some killer wideouts too, as one of the few intelligent posts pointed out. Walker and Terrell were monster recruits. Then there's the fact that Carr frequently trotted out 3 NFL WRs in the same formation.

At this point, none of their recruits are big timers. That could be proved wrong but that is a "good by msu standards" kind of wr haul. And this year, it is arguably below those standards.

Who do they think caught all the jumpballs their shitty QBs were heaving up there for years?

FWIW, I'm not sure this is entirely M*ch*g*n Man stupidity at play here. It's also a bit of recruitnik stupidity. We have it here too. You know the type - all over a kid's hype when he's a recruit and can't be bothered to remember him once he's on the roster. I swear some people root for their team in recruiting more than they do in games.

You've got to remember, these are the same people who were at one point convinced that Justin Feagin was either "on par" or better than Terrelle Pryor.....Sam McGuffie was the great white hope and Tater Tots was going to win the Heisman.

Lets not gloss over such luminaries as Suga Shane, Justin Turner, Dymonte Thomas, Kyle Kalis, Darryl Stonum, and Will Campbell... all who were going to be superstars and ranged anywhere from non-descript role-players to outright shit shows on the field.

Speaking of shenanigans...anybody know what happened to the Beav? @jwinslow

 I'm pretty sure some of them are still into the notion that Hairball is going to morph Suga Shane into a stud.
