UEFA Champions League (Official Thread)

Shout out to my Fulham boys for taking care of business at home against SD in Europa :banger:

Everton and Liverpool also held serve. Roma got 2 away goals, so they look good. Benfica had a nice draw at Hertha. Juventus also with a great road win at Ajax. 2nd legs are next week.

Two interesting match ups coming up tomorrow...

Stuttgart at home v Barcelona

Stuttgart certainly have their work cut out against the defending european champions....no surprise that Barcelona is favored away from home.

Olympiacos at home v Bordeaux

The Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium has been a fortress for Olympiacos in the Champions League. Its difficult to pick a favorite in this first leg match up.

A bit of a p.s.a. mixed in with a question.

Stuttgart v. Barcelona is going to be shown live on Fox Sports Ohio at 2:30 PM EST, and on delay on FSC at 5:00 PM.

Olympiacos v. Bordeaux is going to be shown live on FSC at 2:30 PM.

My question is, is the FSC HD feed also being shown on Fox Sports Ohio HD? Did anyone watch the AC Milan v. Manchester United match on FSOH HD last week? The FSOH HD channel only shows up as "HD Promo", but it almost always shows up like that. I'm DVR'ing the matches, while I'm at work, anyway, so deciding which one to watch live isn't a concern. Avoiding this thread after 2:30 PM, and finding out if I can DVR one or both matches in HD is my concern.

For those paying attention to Europa, Benfica is absolutely laying waste to Hertha Berlin, 4-nil, so they look to be in top form entering the quarters. The rest of the games in leg 2 this round are Thursday. Hoping for Fulham to get the road draw and move on without incident.

Cacau for Stuttgart in the '25 puts them up 1-0 at home. They've threatened this entire half.

On Fox Sports [Insert City], HD too.

The amazing part about the scoreline thus far is that it reflects the balance of play! Stuttgart have outplayed Barca to this point even though Messi just struck the post.

Im obviously excited for the Chelsea match tomorrow with Inter... Was at the 'friendly' this summer in Pasadena for the world soccer challenge... 84,000 attended that game here in LA. Pretty darn cool. Not that it matters now, but Chelsea won that match 2-0...

Should be a great game tomorrow between Chelsea and Inter...not to mention the side story of Mourinho up against his former club.

BTW, Zlatan Ibrahimovic just leveled for Barca....1-1 at the start of the second half.
