Visiting LSU fans: please read

Good Luck to the Buckeyes

Thanks again for allowing us Tiger fans the opportunity to come over and talk some football. I'm not buying into the hype and media dribble about how easy this game will be... LSU knows as well us Tiger fans how difficult the game will be and how fired up the Buckeyes will be considering lsast years NC game. Over the next month a ton of stuff will be said... but in the end it'll all be settled in the Super Dome in N.O. To all of you and your team I say congrats on the season and good luck.

GEAUX Tigers!!!

We'll be lucky to make it something other than a total embarrassment. Colt David would have rushed for 8,000 yards in the Big 10 as a tailback.

That's just funny. But honestly i'm looking forward to a very physical defensive dominate football game. I'm an ex-linebacker so i enjoy defensive games. Maybe we'll play a game with fewer than 14 penalties.

Don't believe the Yankee controlled media. Wesley Woodyard is a far superior LB to Jame Laurinaitis. Marcus McClinton is the best DB in the country. We have lost a game in regulation.

You have huge advantage by playing at your home state. LSU have very, very good record playing at home. Why don't we play at other bowl?
:osu2:

That's the same sentiment I had when we played UGA in the SEC Championship a few years back. But OSU has a great traveling fan base... shouldn't be too much of an advantage.

And we're notorious for shooting ourselves in the foot with dead ball penalties. Remember we're the MOST penalized team in the country. Something we have got to work on. We also have no punt return game... have you seen any of our games? I'm just hoping our D plays a notch better than we did in the Arkansas game and our Offense shows up atleast for a few drives.

If Coach O was in charge of us I would have some confidence for the big game. If this game is closer than the Peach Bowl against Miami it'll be a miracle. Arkansas had next years pro bowl RB DMac. We simply offer a guy at RB Chris Wells that most objective fans on here would say that would be lucky to win all conference honors in the Sun Belt. We don't have a QB that could hold Casey Dick's jock strap.

Well not sure about all of that since I only watched a few OSU games this year... BUT... OSU has a well balanced D and an Offense that can put points on the board. The Big Ten may be down a bit this year and the SEC may or may not be up a bit this year (depends on how ya look at it) but imo... this will be a tough game fought hard in the trenches and our success on shutting your O down will be based on our ability to get into the back field. Something we haven't done much of the last few weeks. Either way... I'm just happy LSU is in the NC again for the 2nd time in 4 years.

A late welcome to all the visiting Tigers! A couple things will help you to extend your stay (sorry if there are any repeats):

1. Trust the coaches on this one, just trust the coaches
2. Do NOT under any circumstances reference MySpace pages as points of reference.
3. Give lots of greenies to Buckeye posters: you get 10 a day (or so Mili tells me), so click the icon in the upper-right portion of a post and give POSITIVE REP. Rubies are reserved for Trolls and ND fans. If you post reasonable/informative posts, you may even get some greenies yourself (see Gatorubet and SNIPER26)
4. EPSN is wrong.
5. "At the same time?" is a reasonable response to any post on the OD
6. We have many celebraties (Bob Barker, Al Gore, Jr., George W.)that post from time to time on Buckeye Planet - please try to be defferential.
7. J.B. Shugarts is NOT wavering.

Thanks. I'm sure there are a few other unwritten rules that you will learn along the way. Thanks for joining us!
