Did you end up getting a Switch?

Does anyone else here with kids have the Switch? I am thinking about getting one for my daughter's bday but I have never even seen one in person. Yea or nay??
Following up on my query several months ago, I did get a Switch and it's been a ball. We have been playing a ton of Mario Kart as a family and then I spent the long weekend playing through Zelda: Link's Awakening with my daughters. What a fun, charming game experience with the kids! We're going to hop right into Zelda: Breath of the Wild next.

Have any of you guys tried Apex?
Gave it a shot. Wasn’t for me. Even though it’s an unoptimized mess, PUBG is still the most complete BR, in my IMO.

Then again, maybe the unoptimized mess games are what I gravitate toward, for whatever reason.

Rust is coming to console soon, so I’m looking forward to that, but not getting my hopes up.

The Outer Worlds if fun as hell so far, there is lot of dialogue.

I am still playing this, but it is getting a bit old as you have a lot of dialogue with characters and load times between certain areas, planets, etc.

Most of the dialogue is background info to get you immersed...I guess. Same goes for the Terminals you find all over the place. If you actually read all of emails, alerts, etc then you will be close to finishing The Stand. 99% of them are filler to help you understand the atmosphere but does nothing to move you along a quest.

There is a thing called TTD which allows you to slow time to better assess the situation. Supposedly a major piece of the game that I have yet to use minus accidentally when I first started to play.

Seemingly 99% of people get digital copies of things. I'm still one of those rare people that prefers having a physical copy of games.

If I get shutdown at work, might revisit a few classics. Hell, might play WoW again. 2 weeks of social distancing? God damn joke with that game.

But for anybody like myself that grew up with the Fallout series... We've seen the next steps.

Battlefield V is the cat's ass. Much better FPS WWII game than COD WW2, especially on multiplayer.
Still flawed but their first solid team gameplay in awhile. I doubt we'll ever have the fun of bc2 again in the era of twitchers and their stat/rep measuring sticks.
